|Description:||Our maintenance technicians play a key role in our success by maintaining all equipment in our plants. Be ready to be busy! Your day may be a combination of troubleshooting, repair work, scheduling and communicating to leadership. The following is a list of some of the areas that the position is responsible for: maintaining dock doors and levers, conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, compressors, AC/DC motors/controls, and more. If you are skilled in the use of electrical equipment, welding, repair of mechanical equipment, forklift repair and general maintenance and have 2 + years of relevant maintenance experience, you may be a good fit! If you are a licensed electrician you may be a GREAT fit.|
|Duties:||Responsibilities: Observes and listens to operating machines or equipment to diagnose machine malfunction and determine need for adjustment or repair. Additionally, studies blueprints, sketches, machine parts or specifications to determine type and dimensions of stock required. Measure, marks and scribes dimensions and reference points on metal surfaces. Dismantles machine or equipment to examine parts for defect or to remove defective part. Replaces defective part with new part or repairs or reproduces part from various kinds of stock. Assembles and test operation of machines to verify correction of malfunction. Maintains and lubricates machine tools and equipment. |
• High School diploma or GED ~ • Ability to perform fabrication is a plus ~ You must have an active non-suspended drivers license ~ • Knowledge and experience with OSHA regulations a plus ~ • Bi-lingual (Spanish/ English) a plus
